PAT & OSCAR'S LAUNCHES FIRST-EVER "FAMILY REWARDS CARD" AND ONLINE ORDERING

Leading Family Fast Casual Restaurant Offers New Choices for Guests
SAN DIEGO – Continuing to offer new services and programs designed to enhance the overall guest experience, Pat & Oscar’s Restaurants (www.patandoscars.com) has introduced two new guest retention programs – a first-ever Family Rewards Card and a comprehensive Online Ordering system.
“Customer feedback has told us guests are looking for added value in their dining experience,” said John Wright, chairman and CEO of Pat & Oscar’s. “As a result, we are introducing our new Family Rewards Card to thank and recognize our loyal customers.” The Family Rewards Card is a point driven program – For every dollar spent, guests earn one point. For every 50 points earned, a $5 reward is automatically put on the card for guests to use at their leisure.
“Rewarding our guests for their continued support is a great way to say thank you,” added Wright. Guests purchase the initial card for $5 and upon purchase, the card is automatically loaded with 50 points and the guest receives a complimentary bottle of Pat & Oscar’s Signature House Dressing. “We anticipate a lot of excitement for the Rewards Card,” said Wright. “Our customers have told us this is something they would like to participate in, and as a result, we are rolling out the Rewards Card program out system wide.”
In addition to the new Family Rewards Card, Pat & Oscar’s has also introduced a comprehensive Online Ordering system (www.patandoscars.com). Through the Pat & Oscar’s web site, customers can review all their menu choices for both traditional dining and larger catering orders. Guests simply click the Pat & Oscar’s closest to them, place their take-out or catering order through the web site and the total price is displayed for payment upon pickup. Orders are picked up curbside at the restaurant to speed the process.
Response to the Online Ordering option has been phenomenal. “Our guests have embraced Online Ordering wholeheartedly and results have far exceeded our expectations. We are looking forward to the continued growth of Pat & Oscar’s online services,” said Wright.
The new Family Rewards Card and Online Ordering are part of an overall growth plan for Pat & Oscar’s, who also recently announced two new restaurant locations in San Diego County slated to open in 2007.
Pat & Oscar’s plans to open four to six restaurants in the next 12 months in Southern California, and is currently investigating new prototype and footprint choices and franchising possibilities to further spur growth.
