PAT & OSCAR'S RAISES $15,000 FOR MAKE-A-WISH
|
Local Restaurants Partner With Make-A-Wish Foundation� to Make Wishes Come True
SAN DIEGO � In just the first two months of a yearlong partnership, Pat & Oscar�s has raised $15,000 for Make-A-Wish Foundation chapters throughout Southern California. Diners at Pat & Oscar�s 19 Southern California locations have been purchasing one of three special �Make-A-Wish� kids� meals to benefit local children in need. Pat & Oscar�s has partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help grant wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Pat & Oscar�s is donating 50 cents for each signature �Make-A-Wish� kids� meal purchased through the end of 2008. Restaurants feature 3 special kids� meals, each named for a different Make-A-Wish child. The kids� meals will alternate at various points, and current meals include:
- Gigi�s Pasta (Choice of Sauce)..........................$4.99
Gigi, age 7, has had a liver transplant and wishes to go to Hawaii
- Daniel�s Wings (3 Lemon, BBQ or Spicy)............$4.99
Daniel, age 9, is battling leukemia and wishes to go to Orlando
- Kristen�s Pizza (Choose up to 1 Topping)..........$4.99
Kristen, age 3, is battling leukemia and wishes to go on a Cruise
�We are thrilled to report our first results in our yearlong partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation � We are well on our way to our goal of raising more than $50,000 in one year to grant wishes for children throughout Southern California,� said George Hunter, Chief Operating Officer at Pat & Oscar�s.
